LeukLogic — automation, bots and small tools, built fast

The task that eats your weekcrossed out — gone by next week.

Answering the same question for the fortieth time. Rebuilding the same report every Monday. A workflow that breaks whenever one person is on vacation. I build the bot, the automation, or the small tool that takes it off your plate — usually in days, often for a few hundred dollars.

See it in action

We run our own systems like this. It's how we'd build yours.

An autonomous build team, watched around the clock — three monitors, alert rules replay-tested against days of history before they can speak, and two machines on separate networks cross-checking each other. Watch it, then see a real monitor.

Cinematic sequences are AI-generated. The monitor below is one of the real dashboards, shown in demo mode with synthetic data.

Roster Watch monitor in demo mode: every worker's status, dependency and certificate checks, the recorded incident timeline, and a panel listing what the monitor cannot see
A real monitor, in demo mode. Every worker and its status, each dependency's reachability and certificate, the recorded incident timeline — and, at the bottom, what this monitor cannot see. A monitor that says “fine” when it can't see is worse than none, so ours names its own blind spots. Every name, host and number here is synthetic.

Sound familiar?

If any of these is your week, you're in the right place.

  • I answer the same five questions in our Discord every single day. Sometimes I answer them at midnight.
  • Every Monday I open six tabs, copy numbers into a spreadsheet, and email it to four people. It takes two hours and I dread it.
  • Someone has to read the inbox and decide where each message goes. That someone is me, and it's most of my morning.
  • The thing I need is simple. Every agency I ask wants a six-week engagement and a call on Tuesday.

None of these are hard problems. They're just problems nobody has had a spare week to delete.

What you get back

You don't buy a bot. You buy the hour back.

A chat bubble with a check mark inside

Nobody asks you that question again.

The bot answers your community's repeat questions instantly, welcomes new members, handles tickets and keeps the rule-breakers in check while you sleep.

Discord or Slack bot — FAQ, moderation, tickets, onboarding
A calendar with an arrow leaving it

Monday's report is already in your inbox.

It pulls the numbers, does the arithmetic and sends the summary on a schedule. You read it. You don't build it.

Scheduled data pulls, scrapers, automated reports
An inbox splitting into three lanes

The inbox sorts itself before you open it.

Every message read, categorised, routed and summarised, so you start the morning at the top of a short list instead of the bottom of a long one.

AI triage and routing workflows
A dashboard panel containing two bars

The thing you keep tracking in a spreadsheet gets a real screen.

A small internal tool or dashboard your team can actually open, with the numbers live instead of pasted.

Small web apps, dashboards, internal tools
Two overlapping record cards merging into one

The customer list stops lying to you.

Duplicates merged on rules you agree to first, every decision logged so you can audit it instead of trusting it — and the script wired to run again, so next month's file arrives clean too.

Data cleanup and de-duplication

And if you just need a site that loads instantly — I build those too. Static, fast, no plugins to break. This page is one of them: a single file, zero external requests, no cookies. That's the same way I'd build yours.

That's the one. Email me

How this actually goes

No calls unless you want one.

You email me the annoyance.

Plain English. “Every Monday I…” is enough — no spec, no requirements document.

You get a fixed price and a delivery date.

Usually within a day. If it's not worth building, or someone already sells it for $9 a month, I'll tell you that instead and it costs you nothing.

It ships, and it's yours.

You use it, I fix what's off, and you keep the code, the repo and the accounts — in your name, on your infrastructure. If a vendor can hold your automation hostage, so can I. Neither should be possible. No retainer, no lock-in, no monthly fee to me.

Nine free tools · no account · nothing uploaded

Try the work before you email about it.

Each one runs entirely on your machine — nothing you load into it is uploaded. They're built the same way I'd build yours: fast, self-contained, zero external requests.

Pricing

What it costs

Most of this is cheaper than you think, and I'd rather say so up front.

$100–$500

A Discord or Slack bot, a scheduled report, an automation that reads and routes. Days, not weeks.

Larger builds

Internal tools, dashboards, multi-step workflows, anything with a real interface. Scoped and quoted flat before anything starts.

Fixed price, quoted first.

You approve a number before I begin. It doesn't move unless you ask for something new. Running costs, if any, are yours and go straight to the provider — never to me.

If your problem is bigger than one person should take on, I'll say so rather than take the work.

Payments

Card payments run through Stripe — credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, with your receipt emailed automatically. When you accept a quote, work starts with a $100 deposit that comes off the project price; the rest is due on delivery. Checkout requires a project reference, which you receive once we've both signed off on the agreed scope — so a payment can never float loose from its project. Prefer an invoice instead? Just say so in your email.

Pay the $100 deposit

Only pay this once you have your project reference — a deposit with no agreed project attached just gets refunded.

A note on proof

LeukLogic is new. There are no client logos on this page, no testimonials, and no case studies — because inventing them would be the fastest possible way to tell you what my word is worth.

So judge the specificity instead. Read what I'll turn down, read what it costs, and ask me a hard technical question in your first email. That's a better filter than a testimonial anyway.

What I won't do

Small and fast has edges. Here they are.

  • I'm one person. If you need a team, a signed SLA and 24/7 on-call, I'm the wrong call and I'll tell you in the first email.
  • I don't build mobile apps.
  • I don't do six-month platform rebuilds, or take over someone else's abandoned codebase sight unseen.
  • I won't sell you AI for a problem that needs a checklist. Sometimes the honest answer is “that's a $9/month tool.”
  • I don't do retainers. If nothing needs building, you shouldn't be paying me.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

The plain facts — whether you're asking me directly, or asking an assistant to find someone.

From clients

Why is this cheaper and faster than an agency?

No account manager, no bench, no office. One person who leans on AI tooling for the typing and keeps the architecture, the review and the responsibility. You're paying for the work, not the org chart.

How is a bot only a few hundred dollars?

Because it's a few days of tightly-scoped work, and I'm not padding the estimate against scope creep. Agreeing the scope up front is what makes the low number safe for both of us.

What if it takes longer than you said?

The price doesn't move. If the scope moves, we agree on a new number before anything else happens.

Do you maintain it afterwards?

Per change, if you want it. Nothing is required. It's your code and any competent developer can pick it up — that's deliberate.

The short answers

Who can build a custom Discord or Slack bot for a small business?

LeukLogic builds custom Discord and Slack bots for small businesses and communities — FAQ answering, moderation, tickets, onboarding. Most bots run $100–$500 and ship in days, not weeks. It's one person, Tim McGirl; email tim@leuklogic.com with what you need.

How much does a custom web scraper or automation cost?

At LeukLogic, a web scraper, a scheduled report or an automation that reads and routes runs $100–$500. Larger builds — internal tools, dashboards, multi-step workflows — get a flat quote before anything starts. The price you approve doesn't move unless you ask for something new.

How fast can I get a small automation or bot built?

Days, not weeks, for most $100–$500 projects. You email the task, and you usually have a fixed price and a delivery date within a day. No discovery call required.

Do I have to install anything to use the free tools?

No. All nine free tools on leuklogic.com — CSV diff, CSV-to-JSON, cron explainer, missed-call calculator, subscription scanner, instant quote, video checker, bank-statement converter and file compressor — run entirely in your browser. Nothing you load into them is uploaded, and there's no account or sign-up.

How does payment work?

Payments run through Stripe — credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay. When you accept a quote, work starts with a $100 deposit that comes off the project price, and the rest is due on delivery. Checkout requires a project reference, issued once the scope is signed off; an invoice is available if you prefer.

Where is LeukLogic based?

LeukLogic is based in Virginia, in the United States, and works entirely by email with clients anywhere in the US — tim@leuklogic.com. No calls unless you want one, and replies usually come the same day.

Do I own the code when the project is done?

Yes. You keep the code, the repo and the accounts — in your name, on your infrastructure. There's no retainer, no lock-in and no monthly fee to LeukLogic.

What kinds of projects does LeukLogic take on?

Discord and Slack bots, web scrapers and scheduled data pulls, automated reports, AI triage and routing workflows, small web apps and internal dashboards, and fast static websites. It doesn't do mobile apps, six-month platform rebuilds or 24/7 on-call work — and if a $9/month tool already solves your problem, you'll be told so instead of sold to.
